Build courage, confidence, and character at Camp Comstock! Campers will enjoy the beauty of Cayuga Lake while living in our tree-top cabin village units, as they explore nature, challenge themselves, try something new, and make new friends.

Summer Paradise

Eager to celebrate the end of the school year and start the summer strong? Join us for a slice of summer paradise! Spend your week relaxing and soaking in the summer sun. Relax and unwind with a camp spa day. Paint your stress away with some beautiful crafts. Watch a drive-in movie, camp style, complete with snacks and treats, and end the day stargazing along the lake.  

Creative Campers 

July 12-17, Girls entering grades 2-5

Creative Camper is the ultimate way to dip your toes into the world of camp! Packed with fun, friends, and imagination! This exciting program has hands-on creativity with cool crafts and playful projects, as well as camp songs, games, and s’mores.  This is a great chance to make new friends and awesome memories. Whether you're new to camp or just looking for a fun adventure, Creative Camper is where the magic begins!  

Splash Zone 

July 19-24, All Genders entering grades 2-5 

August 2-7, Girls entering grades 2-5

Cannonball into the coolest camp of the summer with Splash Zone! Get ready to get soaked, make friends, and dive into some seriously awesome water fun. very day is packed with wild water games, messy science experiments, and splashtastic challenges that'll have you laughing, learning, and maybe even turning into a full-on water wizard. Think: water balloon battles, DIY boat races, and science labs where things fizz, bubble, and blow your mind. 

Wilderness Warriors 

July 5-10, Girls entering grades 6-12 

July 19-24, All-genders entering grades 6-12

Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone and into the wild? Wilderness Warriors is an action-packed camp program that blends the excitement of a Survivor-style competition with the thrill of real outdoor adventure. With mini group challenges, survivor skills workshops, adventure games, and scavenger hunts, you won’t want to miss out on this program.   

Waterlogged and Wild 

July 12-17, Girls entering grades 6-12 

August 9-14, All-gender campers entering grades 6-12

Join us for the ultimate camp adventure for water lovers! You will dive into a week full of fun with boating, waterfall hikes, and exciting water activities. Start with splashing through the creek and playing water games, then move on to paddling across calm lakes. End the week with a high adrenaline white water rafting trip! This program is all about getting soaked and having a blast. You will stay cool, get wild, and make unforgettable memories along the way.

Chef’s Ahoy 

July 26-31, Girls entering grades 6-12 

$575 per camper  

Ready to level up your cooking skills? Join us for a fun outdoor cooking adventure! You'll cook a two-course meal over a campfire, go on a mystery scavenger hunt to create a surprise dish, and test a menu throughout the week. You'll also learn how to cook for a group in our kitchen and, at the end of the week, prepare a snack to share with parents at checkout to show off what you’ve learned.  

Night Owls 

August 2-7, Girls entering grades 6-12 

$575 per camper  

Embrace all five senses as you explore the magic of the night with us this summer! Over the course of the week, we'll explore stargazing, night hikes, twilight swims and nocturnal crafts, all while learning about wildlife and nature under the stars. Enjoy campfire stories, shadow puppet shows, and fun night games that foster friendships and adventure. Perfect for youth who thrive after dark, this camp promises unforgettable memories and exciting experiences!

CIT I is for youth entering grades 10-12, who are participating in the CIT program for the first time. During this two-week program, CIT I’s will receive learn about camper behavior and management, how to work as a team, and techniques for becoming a great leader.  There will also be time to participate in fun activities and challenging group games. 

Ready to join us? Complete the CIT application process on the girlslovecamp.org website. Once your application is complete, you’ll hear from our camp directors to chat about your application and make sure the CIT program is the right fit. Once accepted into the program, you’ll receive a link to register in the CampDoc system.

Girls Entering Grades 11-12, and completion of CIT I program 
$500  
CIT II is a program for youth entering grades 11-12, who have completed the CIT I program.  During this two-week program, CIT II’s will focus on honing the skills needed to work with youth at camp. This program is an excellent opportunity to deepen leadership skills while having fun at camp!

 Comstock Overnight Camp FAQs

  • Camper guides were emailed out to all campers. They include the packing list and other important information.

  • Camp Comstock is in the Finger Lakes Region in Ithaca, NY on Cayuga Lake. Most of our campers are from New York and Pennsylvania, but we have had campers come from all over the US!

  • No! Our overnight camps are open to all girls, and we encourage campers to bring a friend, Girl Scout or not! If your camper would like to become a registered Girl Scout before camp, simply register here! Non-members have a $50 fee added during the camp registration process.

  • Activities at Comstock include swimming, boating, archery, gaga ball, crafts, games, and more! Some activities are age restricted. Add-on activities are also available each week!

  • Overnight camps range from $500-650 per camper.

    A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.

  • No, camp registration is based on the grade that your girl is entering for the 2026-27 school year. Girl Scout levels are as follows:

    Daisy: Grades K-1

    Brownie: Grades 2-3

    Junior: Grades 4-5

    Cadette: Grades 6-8

    Senior: Grades 9-10

    Ambassador: Grades 11-12

  • Campers will stay in our tree-top cabin units or in our platform tent unit with other campers their age.

  • Comstock has amazing views of Cayuga Lake! The lake is busy with other boaters, but we have a sectioned off swimming area for our campers. The swimming area is divided into multiple sections. Campers will undergo a swimming assessment to determine their swimming ability, which will determine which sections they can go in. Water shoes are required to be worn by all swimmers. We have canoes, rowboats, funyaks, and sailboats.

  • Each week we will have a maximum of approximately 100 campers.

  • Overnight camp is just for kids! Staying away from home is a great opportunity for your camper to build confidence and independence. If you would like to attend camp with your child, please see our Family Camp options.

  • After registering for camp you will receive an email inviting you to create an account with CampDoc. You will submit all health paperwork and complete all camper forms in your CampDoc account.

  • Yes, we honor 1 buddy request per camper. In your CampDoc account there will be a place to request a buddy. Please ensure both campers request each other. Buddies must be registered for the same program and be in the same age group. Not coming to camp with a buddy? No worries! Camp is a place to make new friends.

  • Absolutely! Overnight camp is only for girls (no adults), but troop members can choose to attend the same week. Interested in a troop camping experience for the whole troop including leaders? Check out Troop Core at our other camp properties.

  • Yes, financial assistance is available for registered Girl Scouts. We want every Girl Scout to be able to experience camp regardless of their financial situation. Please register for camp first to hold your spot, and then submit this aid request form online.
