Counselor-in-Training

Want to be a camp counselor when you’re older? Or just want to develop your leadership skills? CIT is perfect for you! CITs spend the week building important life and camp skills while participating in camp activities. Explore the pathway to becoming a camp counselor as you learn about the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, child behavior and characteristics, and outdoor skills. You’ll also learn more about yourself and others through a personality assessment. Of course, campers will experience some of the best parts of being a counselor—leading super fun activities, singing camp songs, and being an important role model for our younger campers. CITs will spend nights in their own cabin and receive leadership guidance from the CIT Counselor while spending their days leading activities for younger campers and observing counselors. All interested campers must have prior summer camp experience, complete an application, and interview to be considered for the program.

This week's theme is Holiday Havoc: Are you ready for a year’s worth of holidays jammed into one week? From Christmas in July to trick-or-treating to an epic egg hunt around camp, who knows what you’ll wake up to each day! Watch the New Year’s Eve ball drop or maybe even catch a leprechaun? Anything is possible at Holiday Havoc! Campers will participate in classic camp activities.

Open to girls at least 16 years of age. Register
